Yes. We presently support (and even econcourage) co-direction of dissertations by one or two members of the Claustro of our Ph.D. programme in Leisure, Culture and Communication for Human Development, or adding another internal (University of Deusto) or external member.
We are an interdisciplinary group and welcome interdisciplinary approaches. We write and publish in different areas (cinema, visual studies, journalism, communication studies, gender studies, literary and cultural studies, history, etc.), and more importantly, we often publichs books and articles that are interdisciplinary. It depends on the nature of the project, but we have strong international collaborations with academic centers such as the University of Birmingha, Dartmouth College and the University of Wisconsin. Previous exchanges and collaborations with these and other centers have taken place in the past years.
